How do I optimize my photos for the Web?

Open up Photoshop, go to File>Save for Web and devices. This will open up a dialog box. Select one of the tabs at top (optimize, 2-up, 4-up) to select display option. Fine-tune the optimization settings until you are satisfied with the balance of image quality and file size. Click Save.
